Ventimiglia
The conurbation where it is located has about 55,000 inhabitants, including the neighboring municipalities and contiguous Camporosso, Vallecrosia and Bordighera, which seamlessly form a single city of significant size.

The city is located on the estuary of the River Roia, 8 kilometers from the French border, and its municipal area borders on that of the French municipalities of Menton and Castellar. Ventimiglia is about 42 km from the provincial capital.
